Steve was born in Cambridge, England,
and grew up in Glasgow, Scotland; Pisa, Italy;
London, England; and Palo Alto, California. He
is a graduate of York, Leeds, and London universities,
where he studied philosophy and education.
Before he joined Leone Advertising, Steve had a 20-year career in teaching, most recently as owner and director of Speak International, an English language school for Spanish students, with residential programs in both England and Spain.
Steve lives in Menlo
Park with his wife, Laurel. The youngest of their
three boys has just left home to study Film at
SFState, but they still get regular visits from
the other two college students. He
still manages to play a little guitar, do some
photography and gardening, and is
currently President of SMUG (Palo Alto/Stanford
Mac User Group) and responsible for their website.
